Justice is a term that distinguishes the innocent from the guilty. But those enacting justice seem to have turned a blind eye to the horrors of today. Ultimately, all that is left for the guiltless are suffering and agony.

“All the rights secured to the citizens under the Constitution are worth nothing, and a mere bubble, except guaranteed to them by an independent and virtuous Judiciary.” – Andrew Jackson.

When one dreams about making the world a better place, the first building block should be justice, i.e., equal rights, equal distribution of resources, and impartial implementation of the law. Unfortunately, the judiciary of the United States fails to uphold justice as it should. Many Americans believe that the judicial system is corrupted and manipulated. There are multiple reasons associated with the biased and rotten ruling system.

Circus of Clowns

Carmelo Pinnavaria, in his book Court vs. Pro-se, talks about the political influence that overshadows a once proud nation of the United States of America. He shares that the United States Supreme Court Justices are elected by puppet politicians who seem to do everything aside from serving the people. If you think about it, the entire judicial system is a circus of clowns.

How can the people receive the justice they deserve?

Judicial Corruption (Bribery)

On numerous occasions, the state and federal judiciaries granted unjust rulings, wrongful convictions, and immoral pardons. Result? The guilty roam free, and the faultless are victimized. This is the work of judicial corruption – bribery. Sadly, bribery has deep roots in the US judiciary system. Even though federal judges hold office for life, their verdicts are as influential as the other higher rank personnel. The Yale Journal and other research pieces have shown billions of dollars of bribery taken by judges from cases as low as traffic rule violence to as high as corporate insurance.

Final Thoughts

The current United States judicial system needs a definite rejigging. However, it can only begin after enough light has been shed on the problem. Reflecting on the judiciary system, Carmelo Pinnavaria put his journey into words in his book, Court Vs. Pro-se: TRUE STORY At War For Justice aims to create awareness about the loopholes and flaws in the legal systems of the United States of America.
